Maxpoly 2S 360mah 25C-50C F3P Competition Battery
I have been using the new F3P Maxpoly 2S 360mah packs for over a month now in my 2009 competition models. Each pack has now had over 20 cycles with a usual charge rate of 1.5C. Packs are charged directly from my Ripmax Pro-Peak charger and not via a balancer.
The first charge showed a capacity of 371mah, whilst the final charge on Tuesday evening (20 cycles on), showed a capacity of 367mah. Concluding the packs hold their capacity even under extreme conditions.
The batteries are hooked up to Hyperion Z1709 motors, driving GWS 8x4.3” props via Hyperion 10amp speed controllers. Duration of a usual freestyle flight is around 6 minutes. Duration of F3P-B practice is around 9 minutes. Although I have not connected the batteries up to a watt meter the performance of these packs is outstanding, with my vertical up lines now having similar to a 3S 400mah battery I use, getting used to the extra power available by these genuine 25C batteries is the hard part!
Following 20 cycles the batteries no puffing has been observed etc.
Although I do not want to start a battery war between my fellow F3P competitors I believe these new Maxpoly F3P batteries provide the best performance per £ available today.
