Payment

You can pay in £ Sterling by Credit/Debit Card, Paypal or UK Cheque. All Credit/Debit Card and PayPal transactions are handled by Paypal Website Payments Pro and we do not have sight of, or store ANY of your Credit/Debit Card information. When you order online ALL details are passed over secure connection as we have our own SSL Certificate with advanced 128-bit encryption protected by RapidSSL.

As soon as you Log-In you will enter this encrypted, secure part of the website - the start of the address bar changes from "http" to "https" and the padlock icon will also appear in your browser window to verify this. If you wish to ee our SSL certificate please click on the padlock. You will remain in the secure part of the website during the ordering process and only leave after payment is completed and you Log-Out. We never see any of the card details from any orders and even your invoice is protected with just half the card number displayed (the rest replaced by X's).

If you would like to pay by Credit/Debit Card or by Paypal simply follow the checkout procedure in the normal way, then select the desired option. Follow the on-screen prompts to process your payment. If you would like to pay by cheque please complete the checkout process as normal and you will be given instructions about where to send the cheque. All cheques should be made payable to 'Whitehorse RC Ltd' and we will send out your order 5 working days after the cheque has been paid in.

Postage and Delivery Policy

Postage Methods - Customers can now choose from 1 of 3 possible postage methods. These can be selected in the checkout and are summarised below:

  • Second Class Packet for orders up to 1kg which takes 3-4 working days and does not allow online tracking. Ideal for those on a budget or for non-urgent orders. Please note compensation is only up to £36 in the event of loss/damage.
  • Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Signed For which is usually Next Day, requires a signature and can be tracked online. Please note compensation is only up to £36 in the event of loss/damage.
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery which guarantees next day delivery before 1pm Monday to Friday with a signature (usually Saturday as well). A little more expensive but ideal for those in a hurry. Provides online tracking and compensation up to £500 in the event of loss/damage Postage charges.
  • Overseas Airmail for customers in Europe and around the world.

These are added automatically in the checkout according to your choice of postage method above and are based on the April 2008 rates issued by the Royal Mail, plus £0.50 extra to cover our packaging costs. Please note we do not like to make money on postal charges, as it's unfair.

Order Tracking - In the event of a failed/late delivery please contact us for the Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery Tracking Number. The order can then be tracked on the Royal Mail website and if necessary we will pursue the compensation claim from the Royal Mail.

Delivery Times - We make EVERY effort to ensure your orders are dispatched either same day or the following day after you order. The time taken is subject to your choice of postage method and Royal Mail doing their job!

Warranty and Returns Policy

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, we apologise unreservedly. You should contact us immediately by phone or email to sales@maxpoly.co.uk to let us know the nature of the problem and Maxpoly will then organise a replacement as well as re-imburse you for the postage of the damaged or defective item.

In the event that you purchased the wrong product or the order fails to meet your expectations, we will be happy to either refund or swap the item (with any difference to pay). This is on condition that you notify Maxpoly Batteries of the problem by phone or email to sales@maxpoly.co.uk within 7 days of delivery of your order and that the battery is unused and uncharged and in original condition. Please note that a 10% restocking fee applies to cover our Postage and Paypal costs.

Although every single Maxpoly battery pack is tested for cell voltage and balance before dispatch, we ask all customers to check the voltage of the individual cells on delivery to confirm they are both balanced and over 3.0v. Any pack found to be under voltage can then be returned to us for a refund or replacement. For this reason all Maxpoly batteries are supplied with a 'Charging Advice' sheet, and of course we are happy to give advice and support on any aspect of the our batteries and their operation, both before and after any sale. Please email support@maxpoly.co.uk and we promise to get back to you as fast as possible.

Because it is impossible to know how a pack has been treated it is very difficult to warranty Lithium Polymer Packs. However, as we strive for excellent customer service and support we are able to offer a 6 Month Warranty on all Maxpoly Packs.

If your pack is faulty simply notify us within the period below and return the pack and you'll qualify for a refund or discount of a replacement pack to the following amount less postage costs:

  • Up to 3 Months from the date of purchase - Full 100% refund.
  • 3-6 Months from the date of purchase - 50% refund.
