Maestro Card Payments
As you may know Mastercard and Visa have added an extra layer of
security into card payments on the Internet called 3d Secure. The
deadline for this to become mandatory was 21st January 2010 but
unfortunately the makers/writers of our website e-commerce software are
having a few issues with the implementation of it.
To that end we can't accept Maestro Cards until this is sorted out. I'm hopeful this will be very soon though. All other card types and Paypal are unaffected.
If
you would like to order from us and have a Meastro Card then you have 2
choices - use a different card or paypal or drop me an email with your phone
number and we'll call you back to complete the order over the phone. Please note that in all
cases transactions are protected by our own independent 128bit SSL
certificate (see right) and security - https will appear in the browser to indicate
this.
